TOSCA Automation Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Role Details :

Location : Remote (Pan India)

Shift : Night Shift (6 : 30 PM 3 : 30 AM IST)

Working Days : Monday to Friday (5 days a week)

Joiner : Immediate joiners only

Experience : 5 to 10 years

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Tosca Automation Engineer with a strong background in API Testing, QTest, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have 5 - 10 years of hands-on experience in test automation and quality assurance, along with a valid Tosca certification. This is a remote role open to candidates across India, with a fixed night shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Test Automation & Framework Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca.

- Implement automation for functional, regression, and API testing.

- Ensure test automation aligns with project requirements and enhances coverage.

2. API Testing :

- Create and execute API test cases, ensuring accurate validation of request/response payloads.

- Work with REST/SOAP APIs, leveraging Tosca API testing capabilities.

- Perform validation against database results using SQL queries.

3. Test Management & Tracking :

- Manage and track test cases, test execution, and defect reporting using QTest.

- Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts for defect triage and resolution.

4. CI/CD Integration :

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).

- Monitor automated test runs in CI/CD environments and troubleshoot failures.

5. Database Testing :

- Write and execute complex SQL queries for backend data validation.

- Perform data integrity and consistency checks across environments.

6. Collaboration & Documentation :

- Partner with developers, product owners, and business teams to clarify requirements and

define test strategies.

- Document automation processes, maintain test repositories, and provide test execution reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- Experience : 510 years in software testing, with a focus on automation.

- Certification : Tosca Automation Specialist Certification is mandatory.

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Tosca Automation.

- Proficient in API testing (REST/SOAP) using Tosca.

- Solid experience with QTest for test management.

- Strong SQL skills for backend validation.

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations in a night shift

environment.
