Tookitaki is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented SDET with 6 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore.

This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our B2B AML (Anti-Money Laundering) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, software development, and a keen understanding of QA best practices, particularly within the B2B and financial services sector.

Roles & responsibilities :

Test Automation Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing.

- Enhance the existing automation framework and add the new tests to improve test coverage for critical product features.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Quality Assurance :

- Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define test scenarios and test cases.

- Perform thorough regression testing before product releases to ensure quality and performance.

- Identify, report, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution.

Test Strategy & Planning :

- Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and schedules based on product requirements.

- Define and implement testing standards and best practices to ensure high-quality releases.

- Plan and execute sanity, regression, performance, load, and security testing.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and support) to ensure smooth delivery of features.

- Provide feedback on feature functionality, performance, and scalability to the development team.

- Actively participate in code reviews and provide input on automation testability.

Documentation & Reporting :

- Create detailed test reports and documentation for the automated tests developed.

- Regularly update test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to the QA and development teams.

- Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.

Customer-Focused Testing :

- Ensure that all tests align with customer expectations, providing a seamless experience for end-users.

- Conduct testing in production-like environments, identifying and addressing potential issues early.

Requirements :

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing and automation in a B2B technology or financial services company.

- Proven experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.

- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.

- Experience in API testing and API automation using Java-RestAssured.

- Hand-on-experience in load testing/performance testing using JMeter.

- Hands-on experience with build automation tools like Jenkins, Maven, etc.

- Experience with python scripting would be a plus.

- Experience with AI and ML product testing would be a plus.

Skills :

- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker) and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, especially Agile and Scrum.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.
