Job Summary / Your Role in a Nutshell :

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Architect with strong expertise in Java-based distributed systems and modern data-driven architectures. This role involves designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems capable of processing massive datasets while ensuring reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and cloud platforms, along with exposure to modern data engineering and Generative AI technologies. You will play a key role in driving architectural decisions, mentoring teams, and ensuring engineering excellence across projects.

Responsibilities :

Enterprise & Solution Architecture :

- Design and deliver large-scale, high-volume distributed systems.

- Architect systems capable of processing massive datasets (100+ Cr records or equivalent scale).

- Define scalable, high-performance, and cost-effective architecture solutions.

- Design microservices-based, event-driven, and asynchronous systems.

- Ensure best practices in API design (REST/GraphQL), system integration, and distributed computing.

- Drive performance optimization and system scalability.

Data & Integration Architecture :

- Design and implement real-time and batch data processing pipelines (ETL/ELT).

- Architect data-intensive applications using Python, PySpark, and Amazon Redshift.

- Optimize database performance including MongoDB schema design, indexing, and sharding.

- Implement high-throughput messaging and streaming solutions (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Cloud & DevOps Enablement :

- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS and Azure platforms.

- Define and implement cost-optimized cloud architecture strategies.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes orchestration.

- Drive adoption of infrastructure as code and deployment automation.

Generative AI & Innovation :

- Implement Gen AI-based solutions for automation and engineering productivity.

- Leverage LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) for code generation, testing, and troubleshooting.

- Design AI integration patterns including RAG architectures.

- Apply prompt engineering techniques for enterprise use cases.

Leadership & Delivery Excellence :

- Lead large engineering teams and provide architectural direction.

- Mentor senior engineers and technical leads.

- Ensure engineering best practices and quality standards across teams.

- Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and adoption of modern technologies.

What You Need :

Experience & Background :

- 12+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years in architect/senior leadership roles.

- Proven track record of building and delivering large-scale distributed systems.

- Experience handling high-volume data systems and performance-critical applications.

Technical Skills :

Core Technologies :

- Expert-level proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, microservices, async processing).

- Strong experience with Angular for enterprise frontend architecture.

- Deep expertise in MongoDB (schema design, performance tuning, sharding).

- Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and Amazon Redshift.

Architecture & Integration :

- Strong experience in event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Expertise in real-time and batch processing systems.

- Deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API design.

- Experience with high-volume data processing and performance tuning.

Cloud & DevOps :

- Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, MSK, etc.).

- Good understanding of Azure cloud platform.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code.

Generative AI :

- Hands-on experience with Gen AI agent-based development.

- Exposure to LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) for development acceleration.

- Experience implementing AI-driven solutions in SDLC.

- Understanding of prompt engineering and RAG architectures.
