Job Title : Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud environments while ensuring compliance with organizational and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

- Configure and manage Virtual Machines (VMs), Virtual Networks (VNet), NSGs, Load Balancers, VPNs, and Azure networking components.

- Manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), RBAC, and identity & access management.

- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.

- Monitor performance and availability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.

- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening.

- Automate infrastructure deployment using ARM Templates, Terraform, or Azure DevOps.

- Manage Azure storage solutions including Blob, File Storage, and Managed Disks.

- Troubleshoot cloud, server, and network-related issues.

- Maintain proper documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and processes.

- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Azure Infrastructure and Cloud Management.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewall, VPN).

- Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

- Experience in repository management, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code versioning best practices

- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience working with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.

- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates and Terraform (knowledge of Bicep is an added advantage).

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks.

- Good understanding of cloud security standards and best practices.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
