Tiger Analytics - Associate Director/Director - Data Science Operations

Opportunity to :

- Lead and manage a cross-functional team of data scientists, consultants, and analysts on production-level data science projects.

- Drive end-to-end delivery operations, including planning, execution, quality assurance, and deployment.

- Partner with business stakeholders in the Retail sector to translate requirements into actionable data science solutions.

- Ensure scalability, robustness, and efficiency in production deployments of machine learning and analytical models.

- Implement governance frameworks, best practices, and continuous improvement for Data Science Operations (DS Ops).

- Mentor and guide team members, fostering technical growth and operational excellence.

- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align data science capabilities with business strategy.

Desired Skills & Experience :

- Proven track record in Data Science Operations and leading large-scale production projects.

- Strong experience in managing teams of data scientists and consultants.

- Excellent stakeholder management, project governance, and cross-team collaboration skills.

Good To Have :

- Strong background in Retail domain use cases :

1. Pricing optimization

2. Promotions effectiveness

3. Recommendation systems

- Hands-on exposure to Python and PySpark.

- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and ML model deployment.

Qualifications & Experience :

- 12+ years of total experience with at least 5+ years in Data Science Operations leadership.

- Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

- Prior experience in Retail/CPG domains highly desirable.
