About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives across Salesforce platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for driving test automation strategy, ensuring end-to-end validation of Salesforce applications, and improving release quality through robust testing frameworks and CI/CD integration.

You will work closely with developers, architects, and product teams to ensure high-quality delivery of Salesforce solutions across UI, backend, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Salesforce test automation strategy using Playwright and modern UI automation frameworks

- Design, develop, and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test suites

Validate end-to-end Salesforce workflows, including :

- Lightning Web Components (LWC)

- Visualforce (if applicable)

- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing across Salesforce clouds

- Conduct API testing for Salesforce and integrated systems (REST/SOAP)

- Ensure test coverage across UI, backend services, and integrations

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)

- Improve build validation, deployment confidence, and release quality

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure automation scalability and reliability

- Define and implement quality standards, best practices, and testing processes

- Identify risks early and proactively address quality gaps

- Analyze test results, defects, and trends to improve product quality

- Support UAT, release readiness, and post-release validation

- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level QE team members

- Conduct code reviews and test case reviews

- Promote a quality-first mindset across cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Strong experience testing Salesforce applications across :

- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (preferred)

- Apex classes, triggers, workflows, and validation rules

- Lightning Web Components (LWC)

- Experience testing Salesforce integrations with third-party systems

- Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar modern UI automation tools

- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and design patterns

- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Java for automation

- Familiarity with Git and version control systems

- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines

- Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
