Job Description :
- As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for driving the development and maintenance of various nodes of 5G NR protocol software.
- Participate in systemization, implementation, verification, integration, and support.
- You will lead technical initiatives, guide and mentor team members, and work closely with client/cross-functional teams to foster innovation and deliver high-quality results.
- Your expertise will be instrumental in addressing complex challenges and contributing to critical engineering decisions.
- You will be contributing to product development, maintenance and delivery of products including planning, requirement analysis, HLD, LLD, development and verification of gNodeB.
- Analyze and prioritize 3GPP features for development for different sub systems.
- Work closely with client and cross teams to carry out system integration and testing.
- Provide guidance to teams regarding intricate design issues.
- Focus to continuously improve system performance with quality deliverables.
- Conceive various strategies to enhance the current architecture.
- Work closely with other domain specialists.
Mandatory Skills :
- Candidate should have hands on experience in LTE/5G NR Mac Scheduler, 3GPP Layer 2 Design and Implementation.
- Candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of 3GPP Specification specifically Layer1, Layer 2 and Layer 3.
- In depth understanding of Layer1 Layer2 interfaces and Layer2 Layer3 interfaces.
- Candidate must have knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, SCTP etc.
- Must have experience in debugging complex gNodeB issues, log file analysis etc.
- Familiar with any of these features layer/sublayer MAC, RLC, PDCP, Schedular, Powe Control, SPS, TTI Bundling, Link Adaptation, GTP-C, GTP-U.
- Candidate should have strong coding skills in C/C++.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP radio access standardization of LTE/5G NR, ORAN split architecture (preferably Radio protocols), including algorithms and protocols.
- Experience in feasibility studies and simulation of L1/PHY related features or Packet Scheduler algorithms.
- Strong understanding of 3GPP radio access standardization, including algorithms and protocols.
- Extensive experience in developing, systemizing, and testing software for 5G Layer 1/Layer 2/Layer3 protocols.
- Solid understanding of the Linux operating system and optimizing data processing paths using DPDK.
- Proficient in using version control tools such as Git, Gerrit, and project management tools like Jira.
- The candidate should have experience of agile ways of working.
- Self-driven and proactive approach.
- Experience from cloud technologies like microservices, containers, etc. is also a merit.
- Candidate should have good communication skills and enjoy working in a dynamic and global environment.
