About the Role :

As a Senior QA Engineer (Automation & Manual) at Tietoevry Create, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our digital solutions. You will be responsible for defining test strategies, leading test execution, building automation frameworks, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps. Your work will help ensure that we deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure products that meet the needs of our clients and users.

This role requires a strong combination of manual testing expertise, automation engineering skills, and an understanding of modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.

- Identify testing scope, risks, dependencies, and acceptance criteria for each release.

- Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to improving clarity and testability.

- Conduct functional, regression, integration, smoke, and system testing.

- Validate UI/UX flows, business logic, APIs, and data integrity.

- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues.

- Document test results, defects, and provide clear, actionable bug reports.

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using C# and Selenium WebDriver.

- Automate critical test scenarios to improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

- Optimize and refactor automation suites to ensure maintainability and performance.

- Work closely with developers to understand application architecture and identify optimal test approaches.

- Partner with DevOps engineers to ensure smooth execution of tests in Azure Pipelines.

- Participate in daily stand-ups, design discussions, and quality reviews.

- Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices.

- Utilize Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos) for test management, execution, and tracking.

- Use SQL for validating backend data, writing simple queries, and troubleshooting.

- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and ensure continuous improvement of QA processes.

- Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and drive preventive quality measures.

Skills & Requirements :

- 6 - 10 years of professional experience in QA (manual + automation testing).

- Strong expertise in manual testing, test design, and defect management.

- Hands-on experience with C#, Selenium WebDriver, and automation frameworks.

- Proficiency in writing test scripts, automation logic, and reusable test components.

- Basic to moderate proficiency in SQL for validating data and backend testing.

- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Azure Pipelines.
