Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer Database & Test Automation to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of data-driven applications.

This role focuses on designing and executing automated test scripts, performing in-depth database testing, validating data flows, and collaborating closely with development and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with TestNG/JUnit

- Enhance and maintain automation frameworks to improve test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing

- Analyze automation execution results and identify areas for improvement

- Perform deep database testing including :

- Data integrity and consistency checks

- Validation of ETL and data pipelines

- Performance and scalability testing

- Data security and access validation

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation

- Verify data accuracy across multiple systems and environments

Functional, Regression & Performance Testing :

- Execute functional, regression, system, and end-to-end tests

- Support performance, load, and stress testing activities

- Identify test gaps and propose improvements to test strategy

- Log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools

- Perform root cause analysis and work with developers to resolve issues

- Prepare test execution reports, metrics, and quality dashboards

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners

- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

- Contribute to test planning, estimation, and risk analysis

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in test automation using Selenium

- Hands-on experience with TestNG and/or JUnit

- Advanced SQL skills for database testing and validation

- Solid understanding of database concepts (indexes, joins, transactions, constraints)
