Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a high-performing agile team comprising Senior Developers, Developers, Product Owners, Quality Assurance Engineers, and DevOps/Infrastructure Engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

- Drive the end-to-end application development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of product increments and successful execution of business initiatives within the Data and Analytics domain.

- Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure backend and full-stack enterprise solutions utilizing Python, Django, and Flask frameworks.

- Ensure the application of best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, security, and maintainability through regular code reviews and technical guidance.

- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.

- Manage project priorities, allocate resources effectively based on team bandwidth, and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

- Champion cloud-native development practices, leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine) to build resilient and efficient applications.

- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and team efficiency.

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 2-3 years in a technical leadership or management role.

- Deep expertise in Python development, specifically with proven experience in Django and Flask frameworks.

- Strong hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise-level backend or full-stack applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Demonstrated understanding and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, particularly Terraform, is highly preferred.

- Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
