We are seeking a front-end web developer to join our team. Your background will enable you to work closely with UX designers and product managers to bring their visions to life. You must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

You must be proficient in multiple web code frameworks, primarily such as Three.js, D3, React, and JavaScript. In the hiring process, be prepared to demonstrate examples of your previous work, such as personal or professional projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with our UX designer and product managers, as well as backend developers and SDETs, to continuously improve our existing platforms as well as bring to life new ones.

- Create technical documentation to support all code or features developed.

- Keep current with the latest web development technologies and frameworks.

- Keep current on the Open edX roadmap to ensure compatibility.

Functional Knowledge :

- 5+ years as a developer building professional-grade web-based platforms

- Experience with Three.js and building 3D objects on the web

- High degree of proficiency with React and Redux

- Experience with JavaScript and D3

Key Qualifications :

- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

- Ability to work with a distributed team in multiple locations around the world

- Ability to build good working relationships with an established team of cross-functional partners
