Thoucentric - SAP PLM Functional Consultant - PP/QM/DMS Modules

Role Overview

Seeking a senior SAP PLM Functional Consultant to act as Product Owner for a ERP PLM product build. The role involves driving the end-to-end PLM solution lifecycle, coordinating with engineering, business stakeholders, and functional & technical teams to define, validate, and deliver PLM capabilities on S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as Product Owner for SAP PLM solution and drive backlog, roadmap, and releases

- Work with engineering and business teams to translate requirements into stories and functional designs

- Lead workshops with R&D, QA, Regulatory, MDM, PP & Quality to finalize PLM processes

- Own integrations with PP, QM, MM, DMS, Change Management (ECM/ECR/ECRN)

- Validate prototypes and support SIT/UAT with structured test scenarios

- Promote Clean Core adoption maximize standard before custom build

- Support cutover readiness, go-live documentation, and hypercare stabilization

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 to 12 years experience with at least 6 years in SAP PLM (Discrete or Process Industry)

- Strong in NPD/NPI, Specification Management, ECM, DMS, and controlled BOM/Routing changes

- Proven integration exposure PLM with PP/QM/MM

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum as PO or Proxy PO (backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria)

- Strong communication & stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to Have :

- Recipe Management / Process PLM exposure

- Experience with BTP extensions for PLM

Soft Skills :

- Ownership mindset & decision-making ability

- Structured documentation and validation discipline

- Ability to challenge ambiguous or changing requirements
