Job Summary :

We are seeking a proactive Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (4- 6 years) with strong proficiency in both Manual and Automation testing to drive product quality across the entire development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of quality gates, possess expertise in modern automation tools like Playwright, and demonstrate solid API testing skills. This role is essential for delivering reliable, high-quality releases in a fast-paced Agile environment while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus :

Test Planning and Execution :

- Plan, design, and execute test scenarios across multiple sprints, encompassing both manual exploratory testing and automated regression suites.

- Take ownership of quality gates for features and releases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and confirming release readiness with minimal supervision.

Automation Development and CI/CD :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain existing test automation frameworks, specifically leveraging expertise in Playwright (preferred).

- Contribute new test utilities and scripts as needed, writing high-quality automation code in C# and/or Typescript (Apphub) as required by the technology stack.

- Integrate and improve automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and faster feedback cycles.

API and Backend Testing :

- Utilize Good knowledge of API testing principles and hands-on experience with tools like Postman to validate service layer functionality, data integrity, and system integrations.

Leadership, Collaboration, and Metrics :

- Guide and support junior QA team members in test design, efficient execution, and comprehensive documentation practices.

- Collaborate closely with developers and product owners to identify risks early, establish clear quality requirements, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

- Track and share QA delivery metrics (e.g., automation coverage percentage, defect trends, test efficiency) to promote data-driven quality improvements.

Defect Management :

- Maintain proficiency in creating, executing, and documenting detailed test plans and cases, and hands-on experience with defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Experience : 4- 6 years of demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance covering both manual and automation testing.

- Automation Tooling : Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, with Playwright expertise strongly preferred.

- Programming Languages : Proficiency in writing test automation code in C# and/or Typescript.

- Testing Skills : Strong conceptual and hands-on knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.

- QA Process : Expertise in creating comprehensive test plans/cases and hands-on experience utilizing defect-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla).

- Methodology : Proven experience working effectively within an Agile development environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Voice AI Agents testing or testing applications involving complex conversational flows and machine learning components.

- Background in performance or security testing fundamentals.

- Experience in optimizing automation test execution within cloud or containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
