Job Title : Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) - Python

Experience : 1- 3 years

Location : Bangalore , HSR

Overview :

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented SDET (QA Automation) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality software delivery, strong programming skills in Python, and a desire to work on modern automation frameworks and testing tools.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design and maintain automation test suites using Playwright.

- Create and execute automated API tests with Python.

- Perform load and performance testing and analyze results.

- Develop manual and automated test cases to ensure end-to-end coverage.

- Execute regression, integration, and UAT testing across environments.

- Identify, log, and verify defects using standard QA tools.

- Collaborate with developers and product teams for issue resolution.

- Prepare concise test documentation and reports.

- Contribute to process improvements and test design reviews.

- Understand cloud environments, security testing, and access control validation.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- 1-3 years of experience in QA automation or software testing.

- Strong knowledge of Python and test automation principles.

- Experience with frameworks like Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.

- Basic understanding of API testing, load testing, and performance tools.

- Exposure to scripting, security testing, and cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
