About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SFCC Back-End Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) back-end development, integrations, and e-commerce platform customization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions that support high-performing digital commerce experiences while ensuring reliability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain back-end functionalities on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

- Develop and customize SFRA-based applications, controllers, cartridges, jobs, services, and business logic.

- Build and manage integrations with third-party platforms such as Payment Gateways, ERP, CRM, OMS, PIM, and Marketing Automation tools.

- Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs to enable seamless data exchange between systems.

- Implement and maintain OCAPI and SCAPI integrations to support modern commerce requirements.

- Manage and optimize catalog, pricing, inventory, promotions, checkout, and order management workflows.

- Create and maintain custom jobs, data feeds, and import/export processes.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.

- Optimize platform performance, scalability, and security following SFCC best practices.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning activities.

- Ensure code quality through adherence to development standards, documentation, and testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on SFCC Back-End development experience.

- Strong experience with SFRA architecture and SFCC development frameworks.

- Proficiency in Demandware Script, Controllers, Services Framework, Jobs, Hooks, and Cartridges.

- Hands-on experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, and third-party integrations.

- Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services.

- Experience working with JSON, XML, and data transformation processes.

- Good understanding of e-commerce business processes including catalog management, inventory, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer Certification.

- Experience with payment gateway integrations such as Adyen, Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, or similar platforms.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Experience working with cloud-based integration platforms and middleware solutions.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Exposure to headless commerce architectures and API-first development approaches.
