Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in building scalable data pipelines, architecting data warehouse solutions, and leveraging advanced Snowflake capabilities in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data models, schemas, and data warehouse structures.

- Implement Snowflake features including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Clustering, and Materialized Views.

- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and cloud-native tools.

- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data transformation and data quality checks.

- Integrate Snowflake with various cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data ingestion tools.

- Work closely with data engineers, BI teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.

- Monitor performance, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure platform reliability and optimization.

- Ensure best practices in security, governance, data privacy, and cost optimization within Snowflake.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.

- Expertise in SQL, data modelling, and data architecture.

- Experience with ETL/ELT development on Snowflake.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms : AWS / Azure / GCP (any one is sufficient).

- Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, Informatica, ADF, or similar tools is added advantage.

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts : SCD, Fact/Dimension tables, Star/Snowflake schema.

- Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
