Role Overview :
We are seeking a Senior Project Track Lead with a strong background in software delivery, enterprise application management, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in end-to-end project execution, cross-functional coordination, and delivery governance within regulated environments such as Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Pharma IT.
You will lead multi-disciplinary project tracks, ensuring timely delivery, technology compliance, and alignment with organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Delivery & Execution :
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of software and digital transformation projects - from design and development to deployment and handover.
- Define scope, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and business analysts) to deliver projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Drive continuous improvement through Agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
Governance & Compliance :
- Ensure all project activities comply with GxP, CSV (Computer System Validation), and internal quality standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including design specifications, test plans, validation reports, and deployment guides.
- Collaborate with QA and IT Compliance teams to ensure all systems adhere to data integrity, security, and audit-readiness principles.
Technical Leadership :
- Evaluate and recommend technical solutions, architectures, and integration strategies for enterprise systems (ERP, MES, LIMS, Data Analytics, etc.).
- Oversee implementation of software best practices including CI/CD, version control, and release management.
- Coordinate with technology vendors, partners, and internal teams for solution delivery and post-deployment support.
Resource & Financial Management :
- Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Oversee vendor contracts, SLAs, and performance metrics to ensure service excellence.
- Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the software delivery track.
Qualifications :
Education :
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Experience :
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Software Project Management or IT Delivery, preferably in Pharma, Healthcare, or Enterprise Technology environments.
Key Skills :
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Project Governance, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Exposure to enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or custom-built systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) is an added advantage.
