Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to drive test strategy, automation, and quality assurance across projects. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in at least one modern automation framework and the ability to lead testing efforts in Agile environments while mentoring team members and ensuring high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own test strategy, test plans, and automation approach for projects

- Lead and mentor QA engineers across manual and automation testing

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks

- Ensure effective test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing

- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

- Review test cases, automation scripts, and execution results

- Track quality metrics, defects, and release readiness

- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure quality is embedded in the SDLC

Automation Tools :

Must-Have (Strong Expertise in at Least One) :

- Selenium

- Playwright

- Cypress

Depth in any one of the above tools is sufficient. Experience across all three is not required.

Nice-to-Have :

- Appium for mobile automation testing

- Experience with two tools in combination (e.g., Selenium + Cypress)

Programming Languages :

Must-Have (Proficiency in at Least One) :

- JavaScript / TypeScript

- Python

- Java

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience across multiple programming languages

- Exposure to additional testing frameworks and libraries

Testing & QA Skills :

- Strong experience in automation testing for web applications

- Solid understanding of manual testing fundamentals

- Experience with test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and test reporting

- Familiarity with API testing and backend validations

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies :

- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
