Test Lead - Manual & Automation Testing

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Lead to oversee and manage the quality assurance (QA) activities within our software development projects.

The Test Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading the testing efforts to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid background in software testing methodologies, and hands-on experience in test automation and manual testing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the QA/testing team to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Define testing strategies and frameworks aligned with project goals.

- Coordinate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Monitor and track defects and testing progress, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

- Mentor and guide junior testers, providing technical support and training.

- Manage and improve test automation frameworks and tools.

- Conduct risk analysis and ensure the quality of deliverables in terms of functionality, performance, and security.

- Facilitate regular status meetings, report testing metrics, and communicate risks and issues to stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.

- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center).

- Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, QTP/UFT, or similar.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools (LoadRunner, JMeter) is a plus.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
