- Lead API testing and automation initiatives across multiple applications and services.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable API automation frameworks.

- Perform functional, integration, contract, regression, and end-to-end API testing.

- Develop automated API test suites using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, and Newman.

- Work with REST, SOAP, and Microservices-based architectures.

- Validate APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.

- Design and execute API performance, load, stress, and endurance testing.

- Develop workload models and performance test scenarios using JMeter, k6, or LoadRunner.

- Perform SQL-based database validation and data integrity testing.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

- Work with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams on Git, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.

- Monitor application and API performance using observability tools.

- Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and support root-cause analysis.

- Mentor and guide QA engineers and automation testers.

- Establish testing best practices, standards, and quality metrics.

- Work closely with developers, architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to drive quality across the SDLC.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in API Testing & API Automation.

- Hands-on experience with REST Assured / Postman / Newman.

- Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Experience with REST, SOAP, and Microservices.

- Knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI.

- Experience with API Contract and Integration Testing.

- Hands-on experience with JMeter / k6 / LoadRunner.

- Strong understanding of Performance, Load, Stress, and Endurance Testing.

- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.

- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps.

- Experience with Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.

- Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
