Test Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a Test Engineering Team Lead to drive quality engineering across our application platforms.

This role offers the opportunity to lead QA strategy, guide a high-performing engineering team, and influence critical technical decisions in a global Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of test engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes within timelines.

- Build career development plans and ensure the team stays aligned with current and future skill requirements.

- Use data-driven analysis to prioritize between short-term needs and long-term solutions.

- Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, development managers, and scrum teams throughout the product lifecycle.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and encourage continuous learning within the team.

- Develop and maintain test scripts based on functional and technical designs.

- Contribute to the selection, validation, and implementation of QA tools and best practices.

- Understand user requirements, write test cases, build automation scripts, execute testing, debug issues, and deliver comprehensive reports.

- Support CI/CD processes and ensure seamless integration with automation frameworks.

- Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

- 8- 11 years of experience in Quality Engineering, with at least 2 years in team leadership.

- Strong understanding of testing concepts, product architecture, and QA methodologies.

- Hands-on experience in test case development, automation, debugging, and reporting.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Ability to own and drive product quality across teams.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points) :

- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or WebDriver I/O (C# or Java).

- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.

- Contributions to open-source projects, personal repositories, or tech communities.

- Relevant certifications in technology or Agile methodologies.

- Experience working in Agile-at-scale environments across global teams.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
