Test Engineer - Software Quality Assurance

Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Test Engineer / QA Lead / QA Analyst with a strong background in Wealth Management System Testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in banking and financial services, specifically in wealth management platforms, and should be capable of handling end-to-end QA responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand functional and technical requirements for Wealth Management platforms.

- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Identify, log, track, and manage defects to closure using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).

- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to ensure test coverage.

- Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.

- Collaborate with onsite/offshore teams in an agile environment.

- Maintain QA documentation and ensure compliance with testing standards.

- Prepare test data and simulate end-user interactions for complex wealth management

workflows.

- Provide test estimates, status reports, and contribute to quality metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Management domain.

- Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing (Selenium, UFT, etc., preferred).

- Strong understanding of wealth management products - Mutual Funds, Portfolios, Equities, Bonds, etc.

- Familiarity with platforms like Avaloq, Temenos, Finacle Wealth, or similar is a plus.

- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Quality Center, TestRail).

- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

- Good SQL skills to validate data from backend.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
