Summary :

The QA/Test Engineer will validate different functionalities of the platform including APIs, data ingestion pipelines, backend services, infrastructure components, Azure services to ensure the end-to-end platform is robust and secure.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

- Create and execute test plans for all components

- Automate API and data testing

- Perform security, performance, and integration testing.

- Work closely with data engineer, API developer and stakeholders to execute test cases.

Technical Responsibilities :

- Understand the business requirement, end-to-end functionality, and create a detailed test case document with all possible scenarios across platform, infra, data, API etc.

- API testing using Postman, Swagger, Azure API Management Portal.

- Develop Data validation scripts using PySpark/Python/SQL.

- Integrate test cases into CI/CD pipelines to automate the test case execution.

- Recommend and Implementation of any automated testing tool that can be deployed on

Azure data platform.

- Set up automated data quality checks.

- Perform unit, integration, performance testing of identified test case scenarios.

- Document test results and discuss with stakeholders to make them understand the status.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct UAT.
