Test Engineer - Selenium

Job Summary :

Experienced OSS Testing Engineer with 4 years of hands-on experience in validating and assuring the quality of telecom OSS systems including Fault Management, Performance Management, Inventory, Topology, Workflow, and Service Assurance modules.

Responsible for driving end-to-end testing cycles, analyzing network events, testing integrations (NBI/SBI), and ensuring stable OSS/NMS releases.

Key Responsibilities : .

- Analyse business and functional requirements for OSS modules (FM, PM, Inventory, Topology, Services).

- Create and review test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and RTM with full coverage.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, E2E, and API testing.

- Validate alarms, event flows, topology discovery, device onboarding, and service provisioning.

- Test REST APIs, SNMP traps/syslogs, and southbound integrations.

- Lead defect triage and ensure timely closure.

- Support UAT, migration testing, and production rollout.

- Prepare test execution reports and quality dashboards.

Technical Skills : .

- Strong OSS/NMS testing experience.

- Telecom & networking basics (IP, VLANs, routing, DWDM/FTTx).

- STLC, SDLC, defect lifecycle.

- REST API testing (Postman, JSON).

- SNMP alarm/event validation.

- SQL for data checks.

- Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Additional Skills : .

- Automation exposure (Selenium/Python/Robot).

- Linux basics.

- Kafka/Elasticsearch understanding.

- OSS tools experience (Netcool, Zabbix or similar.

- ITSM process knowledge (ServiceNow/BMC or similar).

- CI/CD basics (Docker/Jenkins), JIRA, DevAzure (if any).

Qualification : B.Tech/B.(ECE/IT/CS) or related field
