Salesforce Test Lead (Manual)

Location : Bangalore
Key Responsibilities :
- Define test scope, create detailed test cases, and ensure comprehensive coverage across Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud functionalities, configurations, and data models.
- Manage and guide QA testers, providing mentorship, task allocation, and review of test deliverables.
- Coordinate defect management activities, ensuring timely logging, tracking, and resolution of defects using tools like JIRA and ALM.
- Oversee execution of smoke, functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud implementations and integrations.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to validate requirements and provide QA sign-off.
- Establish QA processes, best practices, and metrics to improve testing quality and efficiency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, representing QA in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Prepare and present detailed test status reports, defect metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Strong expertise in Salesforce platform, with deep knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud functionalities, workflows, and data models.
- Proven experience in test planning, test case design, and execution for Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud projects.
- Hands-on experience with QA and project management tools such as JIRA, ALM, and test management tools.
- Strong understanding of QA principles : smoke, functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding QA testers.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues under tight deadlines.
- Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading QA efforts in Agile teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder).
- Experience leading QA teams on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud transformation, migration, or integration projects.
- Familiarity with automation concepts/tools (though primarily manual role).
