Job Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Lead Salesforce Manual QA / Test Engineer with strong expertise in Salesforce Quality Engineering and hands-on experience in the Healthcare / Life Sciences domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading Salesforce testing activities, ensuring application quality, driving QA best practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting compliant and reliable Salesforce implementations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for Salesforce applications.
- Perform end-to-end manual testing of Salesforce applications, integrations, workflows, customizations, and business processes.
- Ensure Salesforce solutions meet defined business requirements, functional specifications, and quality standards.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing as required.
- Identify, document, analyze, and track defects through their complete lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide QA insights.
- Ensure appropriate testing coverage for Salesforce enhancements, deployments, releases, and production fixes.
- Apply knowledge of GxP/GXP compliance processes and quality requirements relevant to regulated Healthcare / Life Sciences environments.
- Contribute to automation testing initiatives and have a good understanding of automation frameworks and performance testing.
- Monitor application behavior and troubleshoot Salesforce-related issues in collaboration with technical teams.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers on testing methodologies, Salesforce QA practices, and defect management.
- Drive continuous improvements in testing processes, methodologies, documentation, and overall quality engineering practices.
- Stay updated with Salesforce platform updates, releases, tools, and industry trends.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and contribute to improving product reliability and user satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 7+ years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce testing.
- Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Experience working on Healthcare and / or Life Sciences projects.
- Good understanding of GxP/GXP compliance and regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM capabilities, configurations, workflows, and business processes.
- Experience with defect management and QA tools.
- Understanding of test automation frameworks and performance testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and leading QA activities.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills :
- Salesforce certifications or relevant Salesforce QA certifications.
- Experience with Salesforce releases and deployment cycles.
- Exposure to Salesforce integrations and API testing.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives in Quality Engineering.
- Strong understanding of CRM processes and Salesforce customization.
Ideal Candidate :
The ideal candidate should be a senior Salesforce QA professional with strong manual testing expertise, Healthcare / Life Sciences domain experience, and a good understanding of GxP/GXP compliance.
The candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of testing activities, mentoring team members, and working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
