Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in both Automation and Manual Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks using Selenium and/or Playwright, while also possessing strong functional testing capabilities to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.

- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

- Develop and execute detailed manual test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements.

- Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.

- Perform API testing and backend validations where required.

- Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain testing documentation.

- Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Skills:

- 69 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.

- Strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.

- Hands-on expertise in:

i. Selenium WebDriver

ii. Playwright

iii. Test Automation Framework Development

- Strong understanding of:

i. Functional Testing

ii. Regression Testing

iii. Integration Testing

iv. System Testing

v. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Experience creating and maintaining automated test suites.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

- Experience with defect management and test management tools.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.

- Knowledge of API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

- Exposure to database testing using SQL.

- Experience working in cloud-based environments.
