Test Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven Test Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, ensuring product quality, and supporting the delivery of reliable and high-performing applications.

The role involves working closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements, create test strategies, execute test cases, and ensure applications meet functional, performance, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test plans and test cases.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, and user acceptance testing.

- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using bug-tracking tools.

- Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.

- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve product quality.

- Validate application performance, usability, scalability, and security requirements.

- Develop and maintain test scripts, test data, and automation frameworks where applicable.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.

- Support deployment validation, production testing, and post-release verification.

- Ensure compliance with QA standards, processes, and best practices.

- Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and testing documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

- Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle and QA methodologies.

- Experience in manual testing and/or automation testing.

- Knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools.

- Experience in API testing, database testing, and web/mobile application testing.

- Basic understanding of SQL and databases.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
