Test Engineer - Manual/Automation Testing

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with 2- 5 years of experience in manual and automation testing for web applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end testing of products/features, including creating test strategies, designing test cases, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on testing experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Take complete ownership of end-to-end testing for assigned products and features.

- Create test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases.

- Analyze user stories and requirements to ensure thorough test coverage.

- Perform functional, system, usability, regression, localization, smoke, and sanity testing.

- Test and validate web applications with an understanding of HTTP, REST, and web technologies.

- Execute manual and automated tests for both UI and backend.

- Perform diagnosis, debugging, and root cause analysis for reported issues.

- Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure defect-free releases.

- Maintain test documentation, reports, and ensure alignment with project timelines.

Essential Skills & Experience :

- 25 years of experience in Agile project methodology and test management.

- Proficiency in manual and automation testing.

- Strong SQL and database knowledge for backend validations.

- Experience with version control tools like Git or SVN.

- Scripting expertise in Java, Python, or any other scripting language.

- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience in test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Rest Assured.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation best practices
