Job Description :

Test Engineer with strong expertise in testing within data environments, SQL proficiency, and experience with automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of cloud environments like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) and familiarity with non-functional testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct end-to-end microservices testing to ensure accuracy, performance, and integrity.

- Develop and implement test automation frameworks, specifically using BDD Cucumber and basic Java programming.

- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.

- Work within cloud environments, including GCP or AWS, to support testing efforts.

- Perform non-functional testing, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of applications.

- Collaborate in an Agile setting, utilizing tools like Jira and Confluence for documentation and workflow tracking.

- Work closely with development and data engineering teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications & Skills Required :

- Experience in testing micoroservices applications, with strong knowledge of SQL.

- Hands-on experience with BDD Cucumber and basic Java programming for scripting.

- Exposure to cloud technologies, particularly GCP or AWS.

- Understanding of non-functional testing, including performance and security aspects.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and testing best practices.
