Role Summary.

- As a Test Engineer, youll own the quality of platforms across Corporate Banking Web, Mobile apps, APIs and complex Banking workflows.

- Youll work closely with Product, Tech teams to ensure every feature is tested across scenarios, edge cases and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, execute test plans & test cases for Corporate Banking Web, Mobile Apps and API-based platforms.

- Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms / modules.

- Test complex REST APIs, validate payloads, error handling and backend integrations.

- Identify, report and track bugs using tools like JIRA and follow through to resolution.

- Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and edge cases.

- Execute UAT with internal / external stakeholders and support go-live testing and signoffs.

- Maintain documentation for regression testing, version changes and test coverage.

- Proactively raise quality risks and propose mitigations during product planning.

Skills & Experience Required :

- 4 8 years of QA/testing experience in fintech, banking or SaaS environments.

- Strong knowledge of API testing using tools like Soap-UI, Postman, Swagger, etc.

- Experience with functional, regression, integration and UAT testing.

- Hands-on with SQL and backend data validation.

- Understanding of financial flows, transaction logs and system states.

- Excellent bug reporting, test documentation and communication skills.

- Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup-style environments.

Bonus Points For :

- Experience in automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.

- Familiarity with banking products like UPI, NACH, BBPS and CMS.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

- Exposure to performance/load testing tools like JMeter.

- Knowledge of security and compliance testing for financial systems.
