Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled SDET / Test Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in WebdriverIO and JavaScript/TypeScript. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of web automation frameworks, modern testing practices, and experience working in Agile teams. This role requires strictly working from our Hyderabad office.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO with JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing for web applications.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

- Execute API testing using REST APIs and Postman.

- Analyze test results, debug issues, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Test Automation / SDET roles.

- Strong hands-on expertise in WebdriverIO with JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser developer tools.

- Good knowledge of testing concepts including test design, regression testing, cross-browser testing, and test prioritization.

- Experience with test runners and assertion libraries such as Mocha, Jasmine, Jest, Chai, etc.

- Hands-on experience with API testing using REST APIs and Postman.

- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with mobile automation (Appium).

- Exposure to other automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

- Basic experience with performance/load testing.

- Familiarity with cloud-based test grids such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

- Experience with Docker and containerized test execution.
