Test Automation Engineer - Selenium/TestNG

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.

- Build and enhance automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, BDD) utilizing tools such as TestNG and Cucumber.

- Perform cross-browser and regression testing to ensure software quality.

- Develop and execute API automation tests using tools like Rest Assured or Postman (preferred).

- Write efficient and reusable code with Core Java, applying OOP concepts and Collections.

- Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test cases.

- Track defects and manage test cases using tools such as JIRA and ALM.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the QA processes.

- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and related tools.

- Analyze test results, debug issues, and report test execution status.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in Core Java, OOP principles, and Collections framework.

- Experience working in the banking domain is highly preferred.

- Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, BDD).

- Working knowledge of SQL and API automation tools (Rest Assured / Postman) is a plus.

- Sound understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience in defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA, ALM.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certification in Selenium or related test automation technologies.
