Description :

We are seeking an experienced 6+years in Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in designing automation frameworks, developing test scripts, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Skills :

- Strong knowledge of automation framework principles, methodologies, and standards.

- Ability to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and build scalable test scripts.

- Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, and other automation tools.

- Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript.

- Hands-on experience with TestNG, Page Object Model (POM), Page Factory, and other unit test frameworks.

- Solid understanding of manual testing concepts, SDLC models, and testing methodologies.

- Experience in REST API testing and API automation.

- Experience with TDD/BDD tools such as TestNG, Cucumber, JBehave, SpecFlow (any).

- Exposure to CI/CD environments (Jenkins/GitLab CI etc.).

- Good understanding of Web Services Automation (REST/SOAP).

- Experience with JMeter (added advantage).

Responsibilities :

- Analyze application/testing requirements and propose automation solutions.

- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts.

- Build and maintain automation frameworks, libraries, and reusable components.

- Analyze test execution results and generate detailed reports.

- Collaborate with PMs, BAs, Developers, Testers, Product Owners to ensure smooth testing activities.

- Provide regular updates on automation progress and test coverage.

- Perform integration, functional, and regression testing.

- Identify testing gaps and drive improvements in automation processes.

- Execute test cases, log defects, and track defect closure with development teams.

- Provide inputs for test reports, release readiness, and sign-off documentation.

- Work efficiently in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Education :

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech)

- OR Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

- 6+ years of experience in Test Automation.
