Test Automation Engineer - Protocol Testing

Responsibilities :

- Test Automation Development : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python.

- Framework Expertise : Utilize and contribute to common test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Robot Framework, or Behave.

- Protocol Testing : Conduct comprehensive testing of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.

- System Operations : Work in a Linux operating system environment, managing and configuring test setups.

- Testing & Validation : Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects.

- Troubleshooting : Investigate and debug complex issues within the test environment and the product under test.

- Collaboration : Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Required Skills :

- Experience : 8 to 13 years of experience in QA or Test Automation.

- Programming : Expertise in Python-based automated test development with strong knowledge of Object-Oriented (OO) programming concepts.

- Frameworks : Hands-on experience with at least one common test automation framework (Pytest, Robot, or Behave).

- Networking : Proven experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 Protocols Testing (this is a mandatory requirement).

- Operating Systems : Working experience with any flavor of the Linux operating system.

- Traffic Generators (Plus) : Experience with traffic generators like Ixia or Spirent is a significant advantage.

- Availability : Candidates must be available to join immediately or with a maximum notice period of 40 days.

- Relocation : Willingness to relocate to our Chennai or Hyderabad office for a full-time, work-from-office role.
