Technology Stack :

- Testing, Python or Java, Pytest, Playwright/Selenium, REST API, SQL, Azure (Azure DevOps, Pipelines), Git, Docker

- LLMs/GenAI: Azure OpenAI / OpenAI APIs, RAG

Required skills & Tools :

- Proven experience in test automation (API and/or UI), including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites

- Strong understanding of software testing practices (test design techniques, regression strategies, defect lifecycle, risk-based testing) and ability to document results clearly

- Solid knowledge of API testing concepts (HTTP methods, request/response validation, working with JSON/XML, authentication basics) and ability to automate API checks

- Practical programming skills sufficient for automation work (writing maintainable test code, using core data structures, basic OOP concepts).

- Familiarity with version control and collaborative development workflows (e.g., Git, code reviews)

- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to communicate issues effectively with developers and stakeholders

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating closely within cross-functional teams

Nice-to-have skills & TOOLS :

- Experience with testing distributed systems (microservices, event-driven flows) and understanding common failure modes (timeouts, retries, idempotency)

- Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably Azure) and testing cloud-native components (e.g., functions/services, storage, secrets, configuration)

- Knowledge of test observability practices (logs/metrics/traces) and tools supporting faster triage and root-cause analysis.

- Ability to work effectively with API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI) and validate contract consistency.

- Exposure to LLM/GenAI solution testing concepts (e.g., prompt regression, response quality checks, safety/robustness testing, evaluation datasets) at a conceptual level is enough.

Responsibilities :

- Design, create, and continuously improve test cases based on functional requirements and acceptance criteria (manual and automated where applicable).

- Collaborate closely with product owners and business stakeholders

- Execute manual and automated tests (new features and regression) and document test results in a clear, audit-friendly way.

- Perform peer reviews of test cases and contribute to consistent testing standards across the team.

- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers early in the development lifecycle to build and maintain test automation scripts/frameworks and improve overall quality.
