Job Title : Test Automation Engineer ETL Testing

Location : Pune / Gurugram

Experience Required : 4 to 5 Years

Work Mode : Onsite (preferred)

Notice Period : Immediate to 60 Days

About the Role :

As a key member of the QA team, you will be responsible for designing robust automation frameworks, developing test scripts, validating data pipelines, and ensuring the overall quality of enterprise-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Development & Execution :

- Develop and execute test scripts in Python (preferred) or Java.

- Perform ETL testing to validate data movement, transformation, and integrity across complex data pipelines.

- Conduct API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.

CI/CD & Cloud Integration :

- Contribute to cloud-based testing initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize automation workflows.

Innovation & Quality Improvement :

- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and increase test coverage through intelligent automation.

- Ensure testing aligns with Agile best practices and sprint goals.

Collaboration & Reporting :

- Maintain documentation of test cases, scripts, execution logs, and defect reports.

- Use JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools for test management and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) or Java for automation scripting.

- Experience with Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit automation frameworks.

- Expertise in ETL testing, SQL queries, and data validation.

- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).

- Experience with CI/CD tools Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.

- Familiarity with Agile methodology and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail).

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for testing.

- Experience in applying GenAI concepts in QA is a strong plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Understanding of data warehouses, ETL workflows, and BI tools.

- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
