Test Automation Architect - Python

We are hiring for Test Automation Architect (Python) for our MNC client (oil & Gas) for Bangalore location The Test Automation Architect will lead the effort to build test frameworks and extend existing frameworks.

Job Description :

- The tool/s accommodates both functional automation and CI tools (GitHub/AZURE Devops).

- These frameworks allow us to perform end-to-end testing in multi-component environments.

- He/She will be working with the test engineers to design and develop a reusable architecture for test automation using Selenium.

- Consult and implement right-fit test automation approach

- Consult on Agile testing and test automation (accelerators, tools)

- Prepare Reusable functions, which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of their test scripts.

- The framework should be designed in such a way that it increases and speeds up their productivity & effective reporting abilities.

- Must be able to take on leadership responsibilities and influence the direction of the automation effort, and its schedule and prioritization.

- Additionally, candidates will also be involved in supporting the build master implement/improve build test processes, environments, and scripts.

- These build tests ensure that the code drops to quality assurance are of the highest quality.

- Candidates will provide a practical approach to complex testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing.

- You will be a creative and proactive thinker, and you will make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures.

- Candidate will be part of a team focusing on automation of an identified set of migration tests, checking they run correctly and working within the infrastructure.

- The team would focus on developing and test these automation buckets which would be executed by other teams. Good to have hands on expertise in Docker/Kubernetes, Cloud based Execution.

Requirements :

- 6 years' relevant experience/expertise in Selenium/Appium test automation using Python.

- Hands-on current experience authoring, building, and adopting large scale, cross-functional Selenium/ Protractor automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration, database levels.

- Good understanding of solid design principles & various framework design pattern implementation.

- Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid) and technology stacks (JavaScript, Python) .

- Deep practical experience with cutting edge tools for Web, Mobile, DB and Web-service testing.

- Hands on experience to CI/CD

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree 6+ years of experience in QA Automation of Web Applications, Web Services and REST APIs.
