What you'll do :

Technical Manager - Wireless, is a Middle level leadership role responsible for management, and Leadership of Technical Teams that develop, Test and deliver customer centric projects.

This executive oversees software teams placed across customers, define the best practices, and partners with cross-functional leaders to ensure that solutions align with customer requirements and business goals.

The Wireless Manager will provide technical and organizational leadership across 5G NR / 4G LTE modem systems, Android-based products and Wi ? Fi (802.11ac/ax/be), Bluetooth connectivity.

This role manages a team of Wireless & Android, IoT domain engineers responsible for feature development, integration, validation, RF performance, and wireless quality across projects.

The ideal candidate combines deep wireless domain expertise with strong people leadership, execution ownership, and cross-functional collaboration.

This position requires work from office.

- Team Management and Development : Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, managers, and technical leads across multiple locations and customer premises.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product management, design, marketing, sales, operations, and executive leadership to execute sales and business operations as per the requirements.

- Stakeholder Communication : Serve as a primary point of contact for software initiatives, providing regular updates to stakeholders, executive management, and board members.

- Recruitment and Onboarding : Responsible for recruiting software engineers of the needed skillset and onboarding them to the customers.

- Training and Monitoring : Responsible for contributing to the training needs of the interns and trainees.

- Reporting : Consistently connecting to the RM and collaborating with him and higher level managers .

- Strong Wireless Protocol experience in LTE, 5G NR, WLAN, Bluetooth & RF (CellularWLAN, BT).

- Coding, scripting exp in any one language Python, C/C++, Java.

- Experience in modem integration for 4G LTE and 5G NR.

- Strong expertise in wireless test equipment anyone(Keysight, R&S, Anritsu, Spirent) and hands-on understanding of 3GPP + WLAN standards.

- Lead all 5G/LTE/Wi-Fi callbox operations using platforms such as Anritsu MD8475B/ MD8430A/MT8000A.

- Experience in Android framework & connectivity domain.

- Experience with Python automation frameworks.

- Expertise in Android debugging tools (adb, bugreport, logs).

- Experience in modem logs (QXDM, QCAT, MTK tools), WiFi sniffers (Wireshark, Omnipeek), and RF test equipment.

Strong understanding of :

- LTE & 5G NR PHY/MAC/RRC/IMS.

- Wi -Fi PHY/MAC (11ac/ax/be).

- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Protocol Stack.

- MIMO, beamforming, OFDMA, 1024/4096-QAM.

- RF fundamentals & coexistence.

- Android framework, Android WiFi stack, HAL.

- Experience with AI/ML frameworks is a plus.

Who You Are :

- Bachelors or masters degree in Electronics & Communication (ECE), Wireless engineering/ Telecom.

- Advanced degrees or certifications (e. PMP, Scrum Master, MBA) are highly desirable.

- 8 to 14 years of experience in Wireless software engineering, with strong background in 4G/5G modem systems, Android and WLAN, BT connectivity technologies with at least 7+ years in a leadership or team management role.

- Experience with smartphone OEM, chipset vendor, or wireless test lab.

- Exposure to certification workflows : GCF, PTCRB, WiFi Alliance.

- Domain must from Wireless, Telecom, Mobile Device Software Stack, Android.

- Expertise in modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, etc.

- Manage a team of Wireless, Android engineers across cellular, Android and WLAN domains.

- Evaluate emerging wireless technologies and integrate into project roadmaps.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and managerial skills.

- Experience with customer interaction.
