Job Overview :

We are looking for a dedicated Multimedia Test Automation Engineer to lead the validation of multimedia features on our engineering sample mobile devices. This role is key in our product development lifecycle, focused on automated audio quality testing. You will design, develop, and execute automation frameworks to ensure superior audio quality across various devices, contributing to a seamless user experience.

What Youll Do :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for audio validation on Android devices.

- Build automated test solutions for noise detection, audio artifacts, distortion, latency, and other DSP metrics.

- Integrate audio test suites into a CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous validation and early defect detection.

- Develop test scripts and automation workflows for camera, multimedia, and system-level performance metrics.

- Analyze automation logs and audio test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to resolve issues.

- Manage and operate audio test equipment, configure signal generators/analyzers, and ensure accurate test measurements.

- Contribute to improvements in test frameworks, policies, and validation methodologies for multimedia systems.

- Support device bring-up, feature testing, and performance validation across Android platforms.

Who You Are :

- 510 years of experience in audio validation, multimedia testing, or automation engineering.

- Strong proficiency in Python for automation; proficiency in C++ or Shell scripting is an added advantage.

- Expertise in Digital Audio, Signal Processing, acoustics, and audio measurement fundamentals.

- Hands-on experience developing automated test systems for audio quality, performance, and DSP algorithms.

- Familiarity with Android OS, AOSP frameworks, HAL layers, and system-level testing methodologies.

- Experience with tools such as audio analyzers, signal generators, microphones, and calibration equipment is a plus.

- Strong debugging skills with the ability to analyze logs, isolate issues, and validate fixes.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
