Role Overview :

The Senior MBIST Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading DFT and MBIST implementation, integration, and verification for complex SoC designs, from early specification through tapeout and production. The role requires strong ownership of test architecture, coverage closure, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, production-ready silicon.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead DFT and ATPG implementation, integration, and verification for SoC designs from specification to tapeout and production

- Own SoC-level test coverage goals and ensure they are achieved for logic and memory test

- Drive test quality targets through robust DFT architecture and optimized test pattern generation

- Lead and contribute to Scan insertion, ATPG, MBIST, and LBIST activities

- Define and review test architectures including scan, memory BIST, logic BIST, and related control logic

- Work closely with front-end design, verification, timing, and physical design teams to ensure seamless DFT integration

- Support post-silicon activities, including collaboration with test engineering and silicon validation teams

- Debug test failures and coverage gaps during both pre-silicon and post-silicon phases

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DFT engineers as required

Required Technical Skills :

Strong experience across DFT methodologies, including :

- Scan insertion and ATPG

- Memory BIST (MBIST)

- Logic BIST (LBIST)

- Analog and mixed-signal test exposure

- Post-silicon debug and support

Solid understanding of end-to-end SoC design flow, including :

- Specification and micro-architecture

- RTL design and verification

- Timing analysis and physical design

- Proven track record of delivering production-quality silicon

- Strong test coverage analysis and closure skills
