Key Requirement (NON-NEGOTIABLE) :

This role requires strong expertise in BOTH areas below :

1. Python + Pytest (Framework Level) :

- Candidates must have experience building or extending automation frameworks

- Not just test case execution or Selenium-based work

2. Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) / Embedded Device Testing :

- Hands-on testing of physical embedded Linux devices

- Experience working with :

a. GPIO / Serial / USB / HID

- Relevant domains :

a. Cameras, scanners, IoT devices, sensors

Profiles with only web/UI/API testing or storage/network QA are not suitable

Education Requirement (Very Important) :

- BE/BTech is mandatory, preferably in :

a. Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Embedded

b. Pure IT / generic CS profiles without hardware exposure will not be considered

Location & Logistics :

- Open to non-local candidates, provided they are :

a. Willing to relocate to Bangalore

b. Available for in-person final interviews

Additional screening guidance :

- Strong engineering fundamentals and educational background are important for this role. Candidates should be able to demonstrate sound core concepts and structured problem-solving ability.

- Candidates must clearly and confidently explain their actual hands-on contributions, technical decisions, and framework design, beyond what is mentioned on the resume.

- Depth of experience will be evaluated carefully during interviews; profiles that cannot substantiate their experience with clear technical articulation are unlikely to proceed.

Reiterating non negotiables for this role :

- Hands-on Python + Pytest automation, particularly for embedded systems / hardware-integrated testing, is mandatory.

- Strong communication skills are critical due to regular interaction with global stakeholders (US / Canada / Poland).

- 3 to 5 years of total experience only

- Strong Python fundamentals with Pytest

- End to end framework development from scratch

- Automation of hardware integrated / embedded products (IoT, vision systems, devices, etc.)

- In addition to strong Python + Pytest automation from scratch, clear and confident communication is mandatory.

- Candidates must be able to clearly articulate their own work, framework design, and technical decisions.

- The role involves regular interaction with global teams (US / Canada / Poland), so communication skills are critical.
