Role Overview :

As a Data Engineer at TESCRA SOFTWARE PRIVATE LIMITED, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehousing and ETL processes. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of our data infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the ability of our clients to gain valuable insights from their data, driving business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement robust and scalable data warehousing solutions using MSBI stack.

- Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS and Python to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.

- Write and optimize T-SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and availability for downstream applications.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide them with the necessary data infrastructure and support.

- Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data engineering practices and technologies.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement data warehousing solutions using dimensional modeling techniques.

- Proven expertise in developing and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS and Python.

- Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing T-SQL queries.

- Experience with the MSBI stack, including SSAS and SSRS, is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- 3- 10 years of relevant experience.
