Teradata Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize Teradata database solutions.

- Perform performance tuning, TASM management, and SQL optimization.

- Monitor Teradata activities to ensure system performance and stability.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including French clients (communication in English), to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for database-related issues.

- Act as the primary Teradata expert on site, ensuring smooth operations and supporting business needs.

- Anticipate customer challenges and provide proactive, constructive recommendations.

Qualifications & Skills :

- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, SQL optimization, and TASM.

- Experience in Teradata activity monitoring.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Comfortable working in customer-facing roles with global stakeholders.

- Ability to collaborate with French stakeholders (in English).

- Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

- Strong understanding of customer challenges and ability to provide practical, constructive inputs.
