About the Role :
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Consultant to join our growing Canadian Salesforce practice.
- This hybrid role combines solution architecture, technical development, and pre-sales consulting, offering an opportunity to lead both client engagements and hands-on implementations.
- You will work closely with marketing, sales, and technical teams to design, build, and optimize end-to-end marketing automation solutions that drive personalized customer engagement and measurable business outcomes
Key Responsibilities :
Solution Design & Pre-Sales :
- Lead client discovery sessions to understand marketing goals, data architecture, and automation needs.
- Design scalable and efficient Marketing Cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to create solution proposals, estimates, and demos during pre-sales phases.
- Present technical concepts and platform capabilities to both technical and business stakeholders.
Development & Implementation :
- Build and maintain customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
- Develop personalized and dynamic content using AMPscript, SSJS, and SQL.
- Configure and manage Contact Builder, Data Extensions, and API integrations for seamless data flow.
- Implement and optimize integrations between Marketing Cloud and Sales/Service Cloud using Marketing Cloud Connect.
- Ensure end-to-end campaign tracking, reporting, and performance optimization.
Governance & Best Practices :
- Define governance standards for multi-Business Unit (BU) environments, ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
- Advise clients on platform best practices, new feature adoption, and optimization strategies.
- Mentor internal teams on SFMC implementation patterns, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder, and Cloud Pages.
- Advanced skills in SQL, AMP script, SSJS, and API-based integrations.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, segmentation strategies, and marketing automation workflows.
- Experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and third-party applications.
- Proven experience in pre-sales consulting, solutioning, or client-facing roles within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Salesforce Certifications (one or more preferred):
- Marketing Cloud Consultant
- Marketing Cloud Developer
- Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
- Experience working with clients in financial services, healthcare, or technology sectors.
- Prior experience in solution engineering, presales, or consulting roles
