What You'll Do :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define test scenarios and acceptance criteria for Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce functionalities, including Service Cloud and integration points.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests to ensure the quality and stability of Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement preventive measures to avoid similar issues in the future.
- Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to validate and verify business processes and user workflows.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and integration testing.
- Experience with test automation and Scripting Languages such as Shell, Python is preferred.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends to provide guidance and recommendations for process improvement.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain a flexible and proactive work attitude to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience on Salesforce platform Quality Assurance testing including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and API integrations.
- Experience working in SaaS industry
- Detail-oriented and have an in-depth understanding of industry standards of Quality Assurance, version control (CI\CD) and testing standards
- Experience in CI and CD tools like Github, bitbucket, Jenkins, ANT and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, development and customization.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and SOQL.
- Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and SDLC best practices
- Prior experience with post-Sales business applications a plus (i.e. TalkDesk, Gainsight)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas of improvement and potential risks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development team and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) preferred. ISTQB - optional
