Telematics Development Engineer

Description :

An experienced Telematics Development Engineer to design, develop, and integrate telematics features in Linux/Android-based environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive telematics and infotainment systems, proficient programming skills, and hands-on experience with modem management and connectivity modules.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement telematics features within Linux/Android (AOSP) platforms.

- Analyze and review customer requirements, create design specifications, and ensure successful integration and validation.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging for telematics and connectivity modules.

- Configure, integrate, and optimize system components for performance, reliability, and stability.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams and customer engineering teams for feature implementation and issue resolution.

- Manage technical documentation, software configuration, and version control.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of software quality and system performance.

Key Skills & Competencies :

- Strong experience in Telematics and Infotainment domains.

- Proficient in C, C++, and Java programming languages.

- Hands-on expertise with Linux/Android AOSP development.

- In-depth knowledge of modem management, AT commands, SIM handling, and network connectivity.

- Familiarity with device-to-cloud communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, etc.)

- Proficient in GIT, build systems (e. Make, Ninja, Gradle), and version control processes.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
