Job Description :

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer with around 3+ years of experience in frontend UI automation using Playwright with Java. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated end-to-end test suites for web applications, ensuring smooth UI functionality, and contributing to quality assurance practices in a CI/CD environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright with Java.

- Automate end-to-end functional test cases for web-based applications.

- Validate UI elements, workflows, and user interactions across different browsers and resolutions.

- Ensure complete regression coverage by updating and managing test cases regularly.

- Troubleshoot test failures, analyze logs, and report issues with detailed documentation.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand feature requirements and test objectives.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

- Maintain high code quality and follow best practices for automation testing.

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience in UI automation using Playwright with Java.

- Good understanding of frontend testing principles and asynchronous UI behaviors.

- Proficiency in Java programming and OOP concepts.

- Experience working with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).

- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM structure, JavaScript basics).

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cross-browser testing and visual regression testing.

- Familiarity with test reporting tools like Allure or ExtentReports.

- Exposure to version control systems like Git.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
