Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Business Requirements Gathering : Conduct workshops and meetings with clients to understand their business processes and gather detailed requirements in the areas of procurement, inventory management, and logistics.

- Solution Design : Design and architect SAP MM solutions based on gathered requirements, best practices, and SAP methodologies.

- SAP Configuration : Perform hands-on configuration of the SAP MM module, including organizational structures, master data, purchasing processes, inventory management, and logistics execution.

- Gap Analysis : Identify gaps between client requirements and standard SAP functionality and propose suitable solutions, including custom developments where necessary.

- Functional Specifications : Prepare clear and concise functional specifications for custom developments and integrations.

- Testing : Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Training : Prepare training materials and conduct end-user training on SAP MM functionalities.

- Data Migration : Participate in data migration activities, including data cleansing, transformation, and loading.

- Go-Live Support : Provide effective support during the go-live phase and post-implementation to ensure a smooth transition for clients.

- Documentation : Prepare and maintain relevant project documentation, including business blueprints, functional specifications, configuration guides, and training materials.

- Stay Updated : Keep abreast of the latest SAP MM functionalities, industry best practices, and technological advancements.

- Collaboration : Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including other SAP consultants, technical developers, and client stakeholders.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Consultant.

- Strong understanding of core SAP MM processes.

- Proven experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP MM implementation project.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel as per project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP MM certification.

- Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (SD, FI/CO, PP).

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

- Familiarity with data migration tools and methodologies.

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager
