Techsophy - Data Quality Engineer - SQL/Python

Description :

As a Data Quality Engineer, youll be at the heart of our data ecosystem :

- Cleanse, normalize, and enhance data quality across existing systems and new data sources.

- Build, monitor, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Airflow.

- Design and optimize Snowflake tables, datasets, and transformations for performance and reliability.

- Develop and support data ingestion workflows, including APIs, file ingestion, and database connectors.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across end-to-end pipelines.

- Perform deep data profiling to uncover anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality gapsand fix them fast.

- Onboard new data sources using data quality and integration tools like Deequ, Great Expectations, Splink, Fivetran, Workato, Informatica, and more.

- Collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and product teams in an Agile (Scrum) environment.

What You Bring :

- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, Airflow, and Snowflake.

- Solid experience building data ingestion pipelines across APIs, files, and databases.

- Excellent SQL and data modeling skills, with a strong grasp of ETL/ELT concepts.

- Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives).

- Exposure to data integration and data quality tools (preferred).

- Good understanding of data engineering best practices: coding standards, code reviews, version control, testing, CI/CD, and operations.

- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

- Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
